Pumpkins (Part 1)

Carving pumpkins! We got our big ones the week before Halloween and carved them up. It was fun with both kids! Last year Jake was too little and he went to bed but he was all about it this year. Sorry about the no pants. Some battles aren't worth the fight right now.Alan's always such a good sport gutting the pumpkins. He never complains although I know he can't love it.

We scraped enough pumpkin out to make pumpkin cookies. They were pretty good I thought. Alan didn't love them. Later I found out there are special kinds of pumpkins you cook with. Ours wasn't one of those kinds. Who knew?
