After the nut factory we hit this random Farmer's Market (that's all Alan wanted was a good Farmer's Market to get some yummy fruit. This was not a good one)
Afterwards we decided to find a beach. We were staying at The Waikoala Hilton Grand Resort but that let us go to another hotel that had a crazy cool swimming pool and a man made beach for snorkeling. Seemed like a good thing right? Well, it was. Once we found it. But the people at the hotel were no help on getting us there and we definitely took the loooooonnnnnngggg way but it was pretty. Don't know that it was worth the walk.

We walked along this lava flow looking for the beach. It was a sucky walk carrying all our beach gear and snorkeling gear and eventually a kid or two.
Definitely not an awesome beach. It wasn't sand it was like a whole bunch of little pebbles that hurt to walk on. And it was close to dark and it was COLD!

One thing is for sure. Hawaiian sunsets are amazing.
