Oh February where did you go? Did you even happen? I guess it did since I have pictures from it.

President's Day weekend! Snowmobiling at the cabin! Need I say more?

Came home from a night ride and this is how Gracie was sleeping. Looks super comfy huh?
My camera didn't like coming in from outside. The temperature change was significant!Couldn't get Jake off these bad boys! As soon as you turned them off he was pushing buttons and trying to pull the starter thing to turn them back on. He wanted to "go"!

Gracie playing Vanna White and showing off Jake's naughtiness. Yes, he is naughty.Its all about the cartoons. As you can tell they are both totally engrossed in whatever they are watching. End of February we finally get the call we all thought would come years ago. "Grandma's in the hospital she's not doing very good you should get up here to say goodbye" so into the car we hopped and basically drove straight there. I dropped the kids off at Grammie's first and then we went. Oh she looked terrible it was sad :( The kids and I came up Thursday and Alan sat maybe? I can't remember exactly, it was a long weekend, I just know he was there. It must've been friday that he got there because he made a couple trips to the hospital with me. The first trip she looked awful, the next a little better, the next even better - she even told us a joke that was long and funny!! and then Sunday when we left she was weaker you could tell and she knew the end was near. Her last words to us were to Alan and she said - take care of her for me ok? Makes me cry even remembering it. How sweet Grandma how I miss you!!

On a happier note because of this sudden trip we got to see Denae's baby sooner!! Sweet little Jayten that Gracie could not get in her cute little head was a boy. The poor kid was a she or an it the whole weekend we were there. Gracie LOVED holding him though and asked to every chance she got!

The tramp is the best fun of all though!


Carseats were in Aunt Net's car so they both got to ride like big kids. Jake got a way bigger kick out of it than Gracie as you can tell. And my attempt at a self portrait. I'm not so good at those!
