Day #5 - Yosemite

Welcome to Yosemite National Park:
Bridal Veil Falls -
There was so much water it was ridiculous. We were pretty soaked after this short hike (I actually didn't even go to the top it was seriously nuts how much extra water there was)
My parents and Jake and Alan made it to the top of the hike (the bottom of the falls)
Jake looks thrilled doesn't he?
You can't really tell but water is gushing over this guys feet. This is all extra water that's not supposed to be there.
Next was a pullout with a spectacular view of the falls again.Oh and Fluffy El Capitan
This guy was enjoying his breakfast. We couldn't decide if the rocks or his bike seat would be softer to sit.

The start of our Yosemite Falls journey
First some lunchThe giant tree parking things. They were huge. (You know the things that show you where to park?)The kids were patiently waiting.
Headed to the buses to take us to Yosemite Falls!
The Visitor's Center
Now to mirror lake . . .
Some random friend (the kid in the blue jacket) that liked Jake and walked with us for aways.
Ahh cute :) (the trail was a road for 90% of it but the only cars allowed on it were handicap cars)
Pure joy at throwing rocks in water. Why is that so entertaining?
"Hiking" back
And headed home for the night :)
