Anniversary Vegas style!!

We were just going to spend a couple nights close by. You know Logan or Park City. But I decided I needed to get out of dodge where the temptation to come home wouldn't be a problem. Or the temptation for Alan to go to work mainly :) Sorry babe sometimes I need a break from your job. So I found So off we went! We left bright and early Thursday morning and came home bright and early Monday morning!On our way to the cheesecake factory.

Our choice of hotel. We picked it because it was across the street from the Bellagio. Not super expensive and in the middle of the strip.
It smelled terrible. The pool sucked (we spent a 1/2 hour at the pool after searching for an open spot for 1/2 hour). The only good thing?? It was close to what we wanted.

Ever been in an empty Cafe Rio? No really? When have you ever gone to Cafe Rio and been the only people in there? That's how it was for us in Vegas. We met my cousin Jeremy there (he's "deployed" to Vegas) for dinner and it was just us.

In Vegas we did a WHOLE lot of sleeping and watching T.V. and eating. We also hit a couple movies. Something Borrowed (I liked it!) and The Fast Five (also a like) and one other hmmmm my memory is failing me. Oh! The one where he has 8 minutes (or something like that) to figure out who's blowing up the train and where the bomb is. It was really good too. (Source Code. That's what its called) anyways it was a MUCH needed vacation from the kids and work and a good catch up on sleep :) Although by Monday we were ready to come home and get back to the normal groove. Thanks Grandma and Aunt Tammy for taking the hoodlums so we could get away!!
