Island Park

 

So our last trip to Island Park was kind of an impromptu trip. This one we planned so Daddy could come! Soo much fun and believe it or not there was MORE snow than last time!Woo Hoo!

Ok so this was the best picture comparison I could find. To show you the depth of the snow because it really is quite amazing. So this window and door the kids are climbing to the top of are the same as the ones shown in the picture below. Its the kitchen window and side door. Is that not crazy?

 Oh ya! We brought our sweet niece Ke'nia with us to hang with the kiddos. They had soo much fun!

My aunt and uncle and kiddos came up the weekend before us and built this awesome snowman. (Seriously next time lets chat and be there at the same time!)

Ha ha so when we got ready to go on our first ride. Jake would not ride with me. He kept telling me "you can't drive you in trouble" or "Grampie won't let you drive you crash into tree" Finally Grampie came down and told him I wasn't in trouble and that I could drive and then Jake was totally good with it. Silly kid. Although right before he climbed on he said "Don't crash into a tree K mom?" 

 The kids spent hours (literally) in the sled going around the circle. They loved it. I'm pretty sure Alan got motion sick :)

 

 Any surprise that Jake fell asleep? I swear every ride he went on he passed out. No joke. Could be because he doesn't want to get off so he'll just go and go until he can't keep those baby blues open any longer!

 Of course a trip to Big Springs. Only this time we are feeding ducks. . . .

 We found that the fish will come out for leftover pancakes from breakfast. They'll even jump out of the water for them. Just an FYI in case you are ever there.

 Packing up to go home. Hopefully she doesn't get lost in all our stuff!
