Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Holy Hannah what a day! Thursday was when the festivities started with a St. Patrick's Day party at school! Well, with the party comes the excitement and Miss Gracie could NOT stop talking about the Leprechaun that was coming to our house and that he was going to mess up the house and she was going to set a trap with something shiny to catch it. Honest to goodness you would have thought it was Christmas. Not some random holiday no one really celebrates.
But we humored the sweet girl. And we set our trap. . . .

And that Leprechaun came. Oh he came alright.
He dropped his gold trying to escape.
He even played with their toys (notice the 4-wheeler dude talking on the phone with a piece of gold stuck in it)
Then we got all dressed up for the day.
Look at Miss B's face. She's totally thinking "please don't drop me. Please!"

She's mad in this pic but is she not the cutest?

Then we were off to breakfast at Kneaders for my dad's b-day (sorry no pics) a quick trip home to change and then off to Salt Lake for another tumbling competition!

She had another melt down before going and had to be held by her teacher and then her teacher had to stand there and spot her. If you've ever watched Gracie tumble she most definitely DOES NOT need spotted in anyway size shape or form.

And she got 2nd!! We didn't know what would happen where her teacher had to be there but she still did awesome AND she only lost by .4 which is nothing! So close! We were proud of her :)
Her competition was at the Olympic Oval so in between doing the floor and the trampoline we took some pictures :)

Next up was tramp. Ok so here is the story on tramp. They haven't had her compete it yet this season because quite frankly she's not very good at it. But she LOVES it. Like LOVES it. Its her favorite event. So when this last competition was coming up I asked about it and how it would work if we entered her and basically it was $10 to enter her and no matter what she would get a medal. Perfect. So we paid the $10 and entered her.

Gracie got put in the Level 5 Age 8 and under. 8 and under great. She's 5 she's not even in the same ball park as the 8 year olds but whatever. So on all events the get a practice run and then the real thing. So on the practice one she actually did really good. To the point of me thinking hmmm if she does it like that I don't think she'll get last. (Not that I really care since we are doing it for fun) but then she did it. And this is what it looked like. . . .
Ya, she went flying. We were laughing at her so hard. She was so cute :) Then we head over to the awards stand and apparently they decided to split the division which put Gracie in her own division which in turn gave her 1st place (with a score of 4.5 out of 100) ha ha ha it was the best. Holy hannah she was sooooooo beyond excited it was ridiculous. So cute. Love that girly :)

So after tramp we booked home (well to my mom's house) dropped the kids off and then took off to our VERY FIRST Real Game!!!! Sooo fun. I can't believe we've been so lame and never gone to one! It was so fun! So fun! Even though we were exhausted from not being home for more than a half hour ALL day.

Thanks for thinking of us Dusty and Maria we can't wait to go again!
Season opener and they won 2-0!

Some drunk guy (on the right) and some other random guy (on the left) would not let us take a picture by ourselves. But whatever!

Cool fireworks!
