Jake's New Room

As always a work in progress. So do you remember this. . . .
Well this was Jake's room when he was a tiny tot. Eventually we moved him into Gracie's room when he could pull himself up and stare out the windows in the doord. And we had our office back. And then eventually we moved him into this bed.

Well, with Thing 3 coming our way we had a space issue. With really only 1 option. Somebody had to move back into the office room. Well, we opted for Jake since he's the only boy and Gracie's room is already painted with pink polka dots. (Poor kids been living with those for 2 years) So we got to work. With a little help from this. . . .(this is seriously the coolest thing ever. It cut our "prep" time in like 1/10th. We were done painting and cleaned up in less than an hour. Ya I'm serious. And it was only $6 for the thing and 2 extra refills which we didn't need)

and these guys. . . .

We got this. . .
Now remember this is still a work in progress. Our next task was a dresser or clothes holder of some sort because lets be honest. This room has the littlest closet EVER. Good thing he's a boy or he would never fit. Well, I got the best idea ever!!! Let's turn this . . .
(Jake's bed)

Into this. . .Can you picture it? Alan obviously has some work to do!

So its still a work in progress as well :) but the rush hit and now we have to wait. (I'm hoping this weekend or next!! I'm in a cleaning/organizing mood!) But it looks really good. More pictures to come!!

Lagoon again :)

We did a Lagoon Day with dance. Wow. Was it fun!! We've never stayed that long at Lagoon (the joy of season passes. You can come and go as you please so naptime is never an issue) it was awesome!! The kids had a blast! Lots of rides, lots of water lots of fun :)

Jake learns a new trick. . .

Jake has a new trick. He's pretty good at it. I guess we just needed to wait until HE wanted to do it. Not us :) Last year for his birthday we got him thisthough he preferred riding thisI had been trying to teach him to pedal on both bikes a couple times but to no avail. One night him and I went out and he decided to climb on his big bike. Which resulted in this. . . .

And now this kid is a MADMAN. *Its almost 2 months later now and he is literally hell on wheels. Cars that drive through the neighborhood please watch out for him because I can tell you right now he's not afraid of you. IF he sees you. I'm very glad that we live in a cul de sac because I'm sure he'd be dead by now if we weren't. This kid is fearless. And fast. Did I mention he's fast? Cuz he is.

4th of July Weekend!

Day 1 started out with a trip to Lagoon. (No pictures while we were there just this cute one of the 2 Jake's asleep on the way home)And then a drive to the mountains! Jake also fell asleep in the cutest pose on the way to Island Park :)Some shots with Mickey.
And what cute babies :)

Day 2 consisted of lots of motorcycle riding (especially for Daddy) I didn't get any pictures of me on the bikes. I only rode a couple of times until Alan told me not to anymore :( but it was fun watching him drive the kids around. My uncle brought his tiny 50 up so we could teach Gracie to ride by herself but she wasn't quite tall enough. Next year sweetie! Between her and Jake poor Alan spent a lot of time on that little bike :) His poor butt.

A little hot dog roast -

Naptime :)Always some scrapbooking to be done!

Also was fireworks at Hungry bear. They were awesome!! So much better than Syracuse's and its seriously a little grocery store in the middle of nowhere. Heck their "pre-show" was better than Syracuse's lame-o one!
Cute license plate huh? They were parked in front of us.

Still trying to figure out the camera ok?

Good times :)

Day #3 (have I told you its pretty chilly? Ya it was. And buggy. Oh. My. Heck. Those bugs were horrendous) Anyways. Day #3 was spent with yummy breakfast. . .

making new friends. Her name was Malibu. For reals. And they "lived" next door. (during the summer and then they live somewhere else in the winter) She had lots of fun toys so the kids played a lot over there.

A little more bike riding.
Or rolling in the dirt. And some river time. (Again it was cold but didn't seem to phase the kids).

Jake's fish (we're pretty sure it died :) a little too much love)

Working on one for Gracie.

Ahh there we go :)

We headed home pretty late that night (10ish) and once we got to Ashton the bugs were so bad on our car we had to stop to wash the windshield. Here's our bugs on front. I wish I would've got a picture of the car next to us. There's was so bad you literally could not see their license plate. Wow. That's a lot of bugs.
Tired baby :)

On the actual 4th of July we went to Willard and had a BBQ with some friends and then watched their fireworks (Willard's are pretty cool too) but I'm lame and forgot my camera :( so no pics but it was a good time :) Happy 4th everyone!
