Crazy hair day - May 22nd, 2013

Apparently crazy hair day means crazy face day :) Gracie's a lot like me and is more mellow with her craziness :)

Lizard's - May 22nd, 2013

My kids have been DYING (and I mean DYING) for a puppy. Well, unfortunately for them Alan and I don't do furry animals. I told them they could get a fish. Gracie wanted a turtle. But somehow we ended up with a reptile.  Disgusting.

First we made them a cage.

Then we went and picked them out. Meet Grassica (Jake's) and Veronica (??? I can never remember!! They change their names all the time)

I warned Alan that I would NEVER, EVER, EVER touch them or feed them. (I wanted a fish.) But they wanted them anyways.

They obviously are pleased as punch. Me? Not so much (I wanted a fish.)

(Oh, I said that already? Sorry.)

So here's to our lizarding adventures! (gross)

Gracie's field trip to the Zoo! May 20th, 2013

There's nothing I love more than hanging out with my kids. (Well, most days. You all know how it goes right?) Especially if I can do it one on one. I love to go on the field trips so when the Zoo field trip rolled around I signed myself up! Even though it was cold and rainy it was a fun day!

She loved the insect wall. She stayed there forever! And showed any of her friends that walked by!

We were paired with a cute friend of hers (Raliegh?)

The Lego animals were super cool!

And the polar bear. Oh. My. Gosh. He was so fun. He kept coming up to the window like this and then he'd flop on his back swim away and then come back up from under the water. So fun and entertaining!

Then the cute bears were frolicking around too.

Such a fun day at the zoo! Glad I got to spend it with my baby!!
