Taylor Swift Concert - June 1st, 2013

Oh. My. Heck. Let me tell you a little story. We knew a certain Taylor Swift was coming to town. And we knew that our darling Gracie is a huge (and I mean HUGE) fan. Like really. A big one. So we gave her the option - We'll throw you a birthday party or we'll get you Taylor Swift tickets. Well, she picked Taylor (duh! That was a no brainer) We hunted high and low (mom of the year and I missed the day they went on sale and that was it. There were no tickets available :( ) and we could find nothing in our price range. (We didn't really feel like dropping $600 on tickets. We don't usually spend that much on birthdays.) So we broke the news to our sweet Gracie and then threw her a party! It was a great party too.

Well, about a week before the concert Alan gets an email from one of our lawyers that he has hired for the company and it basically says this: You probably aren't interested but we have 2 extra tickets for the Taylor Swift concert. Would you and your daughter want to go with me and my daughter? Are you freaking kidding me???? Alan being the amazing husband responds - Oh man, you guys are awesome but there is no way I can do that without taking the rest of my family (minus B) The guy says - Ok, hold on and let me see what I can do. Within the hour he had secured enough tickets for us to go!!! For free!! Wow!!!!! So we decided not to tell the kids (he he he he he) and just told them we were going to Salt Lake for a surprise.  EEEEEE!

So here we are loaded up!
Quick stop at the slushy shack! Mmmmmmm

Mom where are we going???

TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!!!

To top it off??? We were on the 16th row. Ya, I know. We would have bought nosebleeds ourselves.
Jake fell asleep ha ha I'm betting once the music starts rolling he'll wake up.
 This was amazing!
Ed Sheeran started us off. He was incredible. A one man band. It was awesome.

Unless you're Jake who was still asleep.

She's pretty excited!!

And then Taylor. Oh Taylor. You put on a dang good show. (We had to wake Jake up about now. He was dead to the world. And let me tell you. It was LOUD in there. Very, Very, LOUD!)

If you can find a way to go to a Taylor Swift concert you really should. She puts on the most incredible performances. Like for real. She is a very talented person.

We were so close. It was sooooo cool!

Best night ever!! It was so fun! And free!!! You really can't beat that!
